With a variety of suite sizes and four specialized accommodations for clever escape artists, we offer spacious and comfortable sleeping areas for every guest, including families with multiple dogs who love staying together.

At the end of the day, after all the fun and play, dogs rest in one of our comfortable, secure, and spacious sleeping areas. We offer multiple room options to suit dogs of all shapes, sizes, temperaments, and family groupings.
- 8×8 National Bark Suites: Our most spacious accommodations, Boone’s National Bark Suites are ideal for large breeds or dogs who enjoy extra room to stretch. Outfitted with toddler beds, TVs, and more, they deliver a true “home away from home” experience.
- 6×5 Barking Shoals Bunkhouses: These versatile accommodations are perfect for families or pups who enjoy a little extra elbow room and each is equipped with a raised bed. Certain rooms can even be widened to a 10×6 configuration to comfortably house multiple dogs from the same family.
- 5×5 Country Cabins: Perfect for small to medium dogs who enjoy their own space, these cozy quarters offer all the comforts without feeling cramped.
Thoughtfully Designed for Safety and Comfort
No metal cages here. All sleeping quarters are located in separate sections of the building based on the room type, which helps maintain a quiet environment for rest time and sleeping. Our namesake, Boone the Harlequin Great Dane, has inspected each suite personally and confirmed just how spacious they are. If Boone can sprawl out in comfort, your pup can too!

Dog Boarding FAQ
Are reservations required?
Yes, to ensure we have space, the appropriate number of team members and be ready for each guest, we ask that all overnight stays be reserved in advance.
What is your cancellation policy?
We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or change your reservation. Holiday reservations must be changed or cancelled within two weeks of the arrival date.
Can I tour the facility?
Absolutely! We love showing off Boone’s Backyard. It’s best to avoid early mornings or just before closing while our team is handling arrivals and departures. We want to be sure someone is available to spend time with you!
What are your hours?
Monday – Friday: 7:00am to 12:00pm and 2:00pm to 7:00pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8:00am to 10:00am and 2:00pm to 4:00pm
Do you accept special needs or senior dogs?
We have a special lodging package just for dogs that are older or require a little extra TLC. Just let us know how we can best accommodate your pup.
Do you administer medications?
Yes, we can administer oral, topical medications, and insulin as directed. Please bring all medications in their original bottles/packaging, clearly labeled.
Can I check in on my dog?
Of course! You’re welcome to call for an update while your dog is staying with us.
What vaccinations do you require?
All boarding guests must be current on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccinations, as well as a negative fecal and heart worm test. Vaccination records from your veterinarian are required.
What should I bring for my dog’s stay?
Please bring your dog’s food (individually portioned per serving) and medications in the original bottles, clearly labeled with dosages.
Can multiple dogs stay together?
We offer family-friendly suites that can accommodate multiple dogs from the same household.
What will my dog do during the day?
Boarding guests participate in one of our fun-filled daycare programs, along with the services included in the lodging package you select.
Is the veterinary staff on-site?
Boone’s Backyard is owned and overseen by a licensed veterinarian.
